Brevard High School and Rosman High School students and Parks and Rec Youth Council are some of our great volunteers who staff booths and games and do some trail acting to make the event even more fun.
$5 admission (cash or check with ID) except for babies/toddlers in strollers/arms. $5 per car for onsite parking, but free parking nearby.
We had a recent question about whether we had a trick or treating aspect- the answer is NO. No candy for kids (we do have a stash for our volunteers, but don’t give them out to the kids, sorry). Take the kids out halloween night to get all the chocolate and candy they want…
But we do have a lot of other fun activities- walking the lighted pumpkin trail, white squirrel search (prize at end), face painting, games on tennis court, story telling, driveway chalk drawing, coloring pumpkin pictures, photo ops with Silversteen family costumes, and a dress up costume photo booth. The only thing that costs money once you get in the event is if you want to buy light sticks, or give the face painters a tip, or buy food or beverage.
Also have gotten questions about dogs. It is a county park, so dogs on leash are allowed, but since there are SO MANY KIDS, we ask that they behave well around a lot of kids please….
Any other questions???
