Friends of Silvermont has a deadfall and clean-up day planned for Saturday, September 6 from 9 AM to about 11 AM.

Because we have Pumpkin Fest starting on Saturday, October 3, we hope to have a good group of volunteers to do some general clean-up plus some pruning of the large rose bushes in front of the mansion, some string trimming, and some general pruning of the other overgrown bushes and shrubs. This is our last chance to spruce up the park prior to Pumpkin Fest move-in starting in mid-September and the event running through October. Please bring gardening tools, especially clippers, pruning tools, and rakes if you have them.
