On Saturday, April 11 at 8:30 AM, Friends of Silvermont members will be gathering at Silvermont Park to pick up deadfall and continue kicking off a new year of landscaping efforts.

The 8:30 start is due to a conflict with the Assault on the Carolinas bike race that is starting at 9 AM on Main Street in town. If you can come early, you may be able to park in the Silvermont lot (especially behind the mansion) or on the nearby streets.

The planting beds around the mansion have been weeded and we should have some mulch to spread. If possible, please bring some tools including shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. Some tools, including rakes, saws, shovels, and tarps, will be available at the park as well. We plan to work for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Please join us if you are able.
